A day in Paradise in Hawaii

This morning I woke up to clear blue skies with lots of sunshine.  I took a morning walk for exercise and stopped to see this beautiful Bird Of Paradise flower in full bloom.

On the slopes of Koko Head Crater and not too faraway from the famous Hanauma Bay is this open market. This afternoon I went to Kaiser High School for the Kaiser PTSA Farmers Market.  Fresh vegetables and fruits direct from the farmers that grow them.  With food trucks selling oishi bentos, gyudon and Japanese plates, Mexican food, Korean plates, Thai food, Vietnamese noodle dishes, and so much more great foods to choose from.  Fresh baked goods and many types of bread.  And snacks like Li Hing Gummy Bears, party mix snacks, and many types of cookies.  I like supporting these small businesses and in return I have great foods.  I just have to remember to keep bringing my own reusable bags for all the goodies that I buy.  Every Tuesday afternoon at Kaiser High School from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

And an interesting food truck – selling chicken curry.

They’re all here every Tuesday afternoon.

Come out and support these businesses.
